Thanks for following the blog

Thanks so much to everyone that has been following this blog over the last few days. It is a great communication tool, that will really help you to know what is going on in our class.

This morning, we continued to work on the first draft of our summer recount. Our goal is to begin peer editing on Thursday. I will give the students the first 15 minutes of class to finish their writing, but if they have a lot left to do, they should bring it home to work on tonight.

Next, we worked in small groups to share our goals and strategies for making our class the best possible learning environment. We will be sharing these ideas in class tomorrow.

During second block, we attended a Junior assembly in the gym. Mrs. Campbell welcomed all of the Junior students back to the school and went over some of our rules and regulations.

Finally, we continued to explore patterns in Math. Most of the students completed the first sheet of questions. All students are expected to complete both sides of the first worksheet for homework tonight.

Kudos to all of the students who worked hard to finish their work in class and while they ate lunch. Apparently, some people really don't want homework!
