Hello,
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the church retreat has been re-scheduled to next Tuesday. If you have already signed the permission form, it will still apply to the new date for our field trip.
This morning, we continued to explore input and output patterns. We also discussed the topics we will cover throughout the rest of the unit. We also set a test date for next Tuesday, however, with the retreat being re-scheduled to that same day, we will need to decide on a new date tomorrow.
In Language, we finished our group work on the fighting for fairness biographies, then the students used post-it notes to give feedback on the quality of responses provided by the group. We will be discussing this feedback in the morning, and working on improving our responses, by providing more detail and examples in our responses.
Finally, the Grade 5 and Grade 6 students gathered in the gym today to complete their ambassador schedules. The lunch monitor jobs and the phones and announcement schedules will begin tomorrow.
There is no homework assigned tonight, so it would be a good idea for the students to review their Math work for the patterning unit. They are also encouraged to read for at least 20 minutes today.
Also, if you're looking for a fun game, where you can compete and improve your multiplication skills, check out this website:

Have a good evening.
Mr. Skinner
