Fighting for Fairness

Hello,

I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend.

Tomorrow morning we will continue our work in the Literacy in Action readers. In pairs, the students read three biographies of people who fought for fairness in various ways. The students were asked to discuss the readings with their partners and pick a favourite selection for an activity we will be doing on Monday.

In Math, we corrected our work on extending patterns and predicting positions and we worked on predicting the gap between terms in a pattern. The predicting the gap sheet was assigned for homework this weekend.

If any students says they are bored tonight and have nothing to do, they could always read a book, or try out this fun patterning game.
