A Great First Day!

Hello,

First, I noticed that many of the parents from last year's class are still following this blog.

I hope all of the students had a wonderful first day at Holy Trinity, and didn't get too lost. Carter, sorry I missed talking to you today, I was trying to sort out the bus rides home. Come by another day and we can definitely catch up!

For my new students and parents, welcome to my class! I have taught many of the students before and I am very excited about working with them again.

This morning, the students filled out a form that told me a little bit about themselves, then they started to work on a one-page recount about their summer, which we will continue to work on tomorrow.

We also worked on some math problems on the white boards, exploring multiplication and patterns.

Finally, we went over some housekeeping items. Please be sure to sign up for blog notifications and read over the front section of the agenda as a family.

There were also notes about the activity fee, confirmation sessions at the church, Lunch Lady order forms and a parent information sheet for you to fill out for me.

If the information sheets could be returned to me by the end of the week, that would be great.
