Working on our Graphing Projects

Hello,

This morning I collected all of the ski trip and pizza order forms. Thanks to everyone for being so organized! It was the first year that I can remember that everyone listed their height in metric form.

Next, we continued to work on our posters and announcements for the cake and 67's suite raffles. That will be the last block of class time given for this task. Please share your poster and 30-second announcement with me by Wednesday.

During second block, some of the students handed in their completed graphing station work from last week. Unfortunately, half the class did not have the work completed. I am hopeful that all students will hand in their completed work to me on Tuesday, or they will need to stay in at recess to complete their work.

Finally, the students were given the criteria sheet for the culminating task for this graphing unit. Each student worked with their partner, came up with a survey question, and discussed which students they should ask for the survey. We will continue this work on the project on Tuesday morning.

Sorry about another late blog post. I had to take my daughter to the doctor for a flu shot and then we went out for a celebratory dinner because she was so good. Not a tear was shed, not even by her Dad!
