Time to Advertise

Hello,

This morning we used the netbooks to begin advertising campaigns for upcoming Grade 6 fundraisers. The Grade 6 students will create a poster, on the computer, and an announcement for the morning announcements, about the Cake raffle or the draw for the Family Day 67's suite.

We went over the information about both events and the students chose which event they would like to advertise. We discussed effective advertising techniques and the students went to work, creating their announcements and posters. We will continue to work on these projects next week. The students are encouraged to work on these two tasks over the weekend as well.

During second block we finished up our work on the Math centres. Now, the students are asked to make sure all of their work is complete, organized and ready to be handed in on Monday.
