Why Buy Fair Trade?

That is the question.

Hello,

Today, the students completed their summaries of Square and Fair and made their inferences about the intended message of the author.

Now, they are working on commercials, with the aim of convincing people to buy fair trade items. We discussed different advertising techniques and then the students were given the opportunity to create a script with a partner for a 30-60 second commercial.

We will be filming the commercials on Friday morning, so any groups that did not complete their scripts in class will be expected to finish them tonight.

In Math, we continued to look at ordered pairs. Next, we will be looking at the many different graphing options there are for displaying data, then we will look specifically at scatterplot graphs.
