I hope all the students had a productive day with the supply teacher on Thursday. The Math is not for homework, we will continue to work on multiples next week, but feel free to work on the sheets if you want to get ahead and get some extra practice.
For Language, I expect that you have completed all overdue work (comic strips, jobs worksheet and Iceberg Wranglers questions). We will continue to work on the Edmodo group postings next week.
As for our theme for the Walk-a-thon, I know we have not had a chance to think about and discuss it yet, but I was thinking we could possibly wear pink. My friend Wayne was in the Ottawa Citizen this week after participating in the Walk for the Cure and I thought he looked pretty cool. We wouldn't have to dress as crazy as him. He was just my inspiration for the idea. Let me know what you think on Tuesday.
Finally, I wanted to share an awesome video that we watched today about working together to overcome obstacles and succeed as part of our PD Day activities. I thought it was incredible and wanted to share it with you too.
