Holy Trinity Parent Info Night

Hello,

This morning I wrapped up the majority of the Math conferences. All students who have completed their conferences will be bringing their test home to be signed. Most students were able to display a high level of understanding during the conferences, but they are reminded to read all instructions and explain their thinking when completing a test.

We finished correcting the EQAO sample problems as a group and had some interesting discussions about our solutions. Then we did some work on the white boards to display our understanding of area, perimeter and metric unit conversion. Tomorrow, we will be doing a wrap-up activity for the unit, where the students will show me what they know and if there are any areas I need to revisit, by completing a unit exit card for the major concepts of the unit.

In Language, we continued to work, on the chromebooks, on our March Break Haikus (one for each day) and making a bitstrip for their favourite poems.

Finally, a parent info night is happening next month at Holy Trinity about the transition to Grade 7. Follow the link below for more information.
