Sweaters and Symmetry

Hello,

First, it was great to hear the positive feedback from parents and students about the after school basketball program. I'm so glad everyone enjoyed it and I look forward to continue with the program for the rest of the year. 

This morning, it was great to see so many students in their comfy sweaters and toques. We went to the Learning Commons to take out new books and to sign the massive sweater Mme. Helbecque had created.

Next, the students started to create announcements in their seating groups, to advertise next week's cake raffle (a note will be coming home on Friday).

Finally, the students explored symmetry and discussed the relationship between how many equal lines and how many lines of symmetry a given shape has. Tomorrow, we will begin to look at rotational symmetry.

Don't forget to bring in your ski trip forms.
