Math Tests Returned

Hello,

This morning I returned the Math tests to the students. I talked to each student about their performance and indicated if there were any questions I would like to go over in a student-led conference. Please sign and return these tests. There are six students who will receive their evaluated tests tomorrow. I ran out of time during the block to go over the tests with these students and I didn't have an opportunity to give them feedback this afternoon, as I was dealing with various issues in the school in my role as Principal Designate. Sorry for any inconvenience.

In Math, we finished our corrections and discussions of factors and prime and composite numbers, by correcting the worksheets and the three questions that were posted on the blog tonight.

For homework, the students should make sure they have the mental math worksheet completed. They should also answer the following questions:

1. Training for a cross country race, Austin runs every 3 days, Emma runs every 5 days and Gina runs every six days. Today they all run together. How many days later will they run together again?

2. How many prime numbers are there between 1 and 100?

3. What number(s) between 1 and 100 has/have exactly seven factors? What are the factors for the number(s)?

In Language, the students finished their reading responses for the "Smallmouth on the Fly" story. The multiple choice and short answer questions should be completed for homework, if they were not completed in class.

Have a great evening.

Mr. Skinner
