An Awesome Day!

Hello,

Today was so much fun as all of the Grade 6 students watched the Ottawa 67's defeat the Belleville Bulls 9-4. Everyone was very well behaved, but they were also very vocal in their support for the 67's. It was a great day.

Thanks to all of the parents who volunteered to help out today. Also, congratulations to Ethan who did a great job passing the puck during the second intermission on-ice activities.

Before we went to the game we did some correcting of our previous place value and expanded form work. We also discussed some of our feeling about our novel, "Out of My Mind" and whether any of the answers Sharon Draper provided in her YouTube interview surprised us.

We will continue to work on our Math and explore new lessons about being a good digital citizen tomorrow morning. You have no new homework tonight, except for resting your vocal chords after all of your cheering today. Let's go 67's!
